Microsoft Excel was designed primarily for accounting functions. Do you want to do anything with numbers - add, subtract, average, count, you name it, and Excel is the program to use. Add to that the functionality of easily representing your numbers in graphs, and you have power at you fingertips.
When presenting advanced excel training in islamabad, I am constantly amazed at what the students would like to do with Excel. These proposals come in irrespective of whether the student is doing the basic, intermediate or advanced Excel course. In a number of these cases, the student saw a colleague, family member or friend that was using Excel for something other than the normal accounting / numeric functions. When presenting training on Microsoft Excel or developing various courses, it is impossible to focus specifically on these alternative uses of Excel. By necessity and looking at the number of prospective students for advanced excel training in islamabad, one has to stick to the basics (i.e. accounting functions) of Microsoft Excel.
So, apart from the numeric manipulations and calculations that Excel is so good at, what else can be done with this versatile program?
Traditionally, when working with a large volume of data, a database program such as MS Access or MS SQL Server is used. However, Excel has a number of data manipulation capabilities such as sorting, filtering, converting text, removing duplicates and grouping. Using this enables us to easily and quickly view and extract very specific data from a large volume. Thinking about it, the rows and column of Excel look identical to a table in a database. Instead of using SQL queries (which can become rather complex), data is filtered by highlighting the first row of data and then clicking on the filter button under the data tab (Microsoft Excel 2007). This has the effect of putting a dropdown selection box in each column. Using these and selecting the appropriate values will in effect execute a complex SQL query without the user having to know anything about SQL queries at all.
When doing a mail merge document in Microsoft Word, one of the data sources that is in fact available is listed as an Excel spreadsheet. Therefore, take enrollment in advanced excel training in islamabad
